Service Disclaimer

Important information about what home watch is — and what it is not.

Home watch is a visual service

True North Home Watch performs visual inspections of readily observable, accessible areas of your home. We report what a reasonable visual inspection can identify. We do not dismantle, move or open concealed systems, walls, or belongings.

Not a guarantee

Home watch reduces risk but cannot prevent all loss or damage. We cannot guarantee that problems occurring between visits, or conditions not reasonably visible, will be detected. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or issues outside the scope of a visual inspection.

Not a security or repair service

We are not a security, alarm-monitoring, or emergency-response company, and we do not perform repairs. When an issue is found, we notify you promptly and can help coordinate qualified service providers with your approval.

Utilities & access

Accurate inspections require active utilities (including HVAC and water) and safe, lawful access to the property. We are not responsible for conditions resulting from utilities being off or access being unavailable.

Storms & access to your area

After a hurricane or other severe storm, roads or your neighborhood may be closed or unsafe because of damage in the area, and access to your property may be delayed. Because we live and work locally, we know right away when your area reopens, and we visit your home as soon as it is safe to do so. Storm-related delays do not change the scope of the service you booked.

Insurance

Home watch documentation may support an insurance claim, but coverage decisions rest solely with your insurer. Please confirm your policy's requirements for unoccupied homes.
