What is contractor and vendor access?
Service windows are hard on second-home owners. An A/C technician may give you a four-hour window, and a plumber or pool contractor needs someone inside the home to let them in. Contractor & Vendor Access means a True North team member is that person, so you do not have to book a flight or ask a neighbor.
We let your vendor in, stay on site while the work is done, and lock the home when they leave. Before and after photos show the home's condition on either side of the visit, and you receive confirmation that the work was completed.
You choose the time you expect to need: 1 hour ($70, the minimum), 2 hours ($140) or 3 hours ($210). If the visit runs longer, additional time is billed at $35 per half-hour. Please give us 48 hours' notice. The vendor's own charges are separate.

Can I choose how many hours to book?
Yes. Choose 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours, based on how long you expect the visit to take. One hour is the minimum. If the vendor stays longer than the time you chose, the additional time is billed at $35 per half-hour, so a longer visit costs more. Call us and we confirm the details.
What are the limits of this service?
We provide access, supervision and photos. We do not repair anything, and we do not judge the technical quality of the work. We confirm that it was completed. The vendor's fees are billed to you by the vendor, and we cannot guarantee the result of a repair. Please check any insurance or warranty questions with your agent or vendor.
